Chena Tours & Safaris Namibia is a business in the travel and tourism industry that provides guided safaris and journeys, self-drive itineraries, day tours and excursions, photoshoot experiences, accommodation and activity bookings, and airport transfers across Namibia.

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, booking requests are processed within 2 business days and confirmed by way of a booking reference and a written confirmation sent by email (and, where applicable, a booking voucher). Our services are travel experiences rendered on the agreed dates; no physical goods are shipped. Where a booking includes third-party accommodation or activities, these are reserved on your behalf and may carry their own terms.

All prices on this website are displayed in Namibian Dollar (NAD) and are valid for the period stated. Prices for future seasons (for example 2027) and for multi-day journeys are indicative and may vary with season, market changes and lodge or guesthouse availability; these are confirmed by written quotation before payment.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due before your tour or travel date, as stated on your invoice or confirmation.

The provision of services is subject to availability. In cases where we are unable to provide a booked service, we will refund you in full within 30 days. Client cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy: cancellations made within 48 hours of the excursion are charged 50% of the booking value, and cancellations within 24 hours are charged 100%. The booking deposit is non-refundable.

Payment may be made by Visa or Mastercard card through our secure payment provider, or by bank transfer (EFT) into the Chena Tours & Safaris Namibia bank account, the details of which are provided on your invoice or on request.

Card transactions are acquired for Chena through DPO PayGate, an approved payment gateway. DPO PayGate uses a strong form of encryption (Secure Socket Layer) and no card details are stored on this website. You may visit the payment provider's website to view its security certificate and security policy.

Your customer details are stored by Chena separately from your card details, which are entered by you on the payment provider's secure page. For more detail on the payment provider, refer to its website.

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is Namibia, and the transaction currency is the Namibian Dollar (NAD).

Chena takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction, including the services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution, and delivery of the booked services.

This website and these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia. Chena chooses its physical address (set out below) as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

Chena may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part of it at any time. The current version is always the version published on this page.
